The Dyfi Valley Recycling Project

How to reduce re-use recycle in the Dyfi Valley

We have produced a leaflet and web page, which provides details for Dyfi Valley householders on where you can take various items for re-use or recycling.

Work with county councils to help implement their kerbside collections

kerbside collectionWe have been involved with awareness raising prior to both Gwynedd and Powys County Council Kerbside collections.

Click on the links on the left for more information on these collections. Ceredigion does not offer a kerbside collection.

CCRP and POW

We have bids in to carry out work with both the Ceredigion Community Recycling Partnership and Powys Zero Waste and we fully support the development of any waste minimisation initiatives throughout each county.

Schools work - see schools.

Pennal questionnaire

A questionnaire concerning recycling and composting was carried out in the village of Pennal in 2002.

The results were followed up by public information sessions with Gwynedd county council, a village led compost training programme and composting at the primary school.
