Cycle park bollard in the shape of a cycle

Ecodyfi has applied to the Community Fund (lottery) for funds to establish a three-year transport project.

You can download the summary of the application [Word document 39kB].

The first stage will be a thorough assessment of the transport needs of residents and visitors. This evidence will be used to persuade public transport providers to improve the provision and integration of their services and will help us plan additional services.

Cycling and walking will be included in the project as well as motorised transport. A draft cycling stategy document is here [Word file 201kB]

The community transport projects of PAVO (Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations), CAMAD (Community Action Machynlleth and District) and the Red Cross are involved.

We need to involve more people in this work, including those who regularly use public transport and want to have their say.

Would you like to join us and play a role in developing public transport?
