The information centre is open Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 3.00. You might even like to get involved in staffing it or in helping to run a project. Please come and see us!

Travel deals

There are several great ways of making your journeys in the Dyfi Valley area cheaper or easier:

• Season ticket - for regular travellers
• Railcard - for regular travellers and leisure
• Flexipass - for leisure or occasional use
• Cambrian Coaster Rangers and North & Mid-Wales Ranger - for leisure or occasional use
• 20% discount on the "Great Little Trains of Wales" - for leisure or occasional use
• Two for one timetable for buses and trains for people traveling between Machynlleth, Borth and Aberystwyth

The Dyfi Valley Travel Guide

This is a timetable, map and tips for the main trains, buses and taxis in the valley. Below is the version valid from 1 December 2009. The travel guide can be downloaded as a PDF, here [3.5MB]. It is also available from Tourist Information Centres, some train stations and buses, Bro Ddyfi Communities First offices, and the ecodyfi office in Machynlleth.

The Travel Guide is produced by Dyfi Diary for ecodyfi, with the support of Ceredigion Council, Gwynedd Council, Powys Council and Lloyds Coaches.
