DownloadsCelebrating language and landscape at Dathlu Dyfi!Ecodyfi is running a new project that explores and celebrates links between Welsh language, culture, landscape and nature using the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere as a demonstration area. On Friday the 16th of April 2010 ‘Dathlu Dyfi!’ launched Tirwedd Dyfi, a year-long project which concentrates on strengthening the link between environmental awareness and that of the area’s language and heritage. It was one of a number of events which will take place during the coming year, including an evening of competitive poetry (ymryson y beirdd) on 14 May, a project with local schools and an unusual competition using both words and art works. The project is funded by the Countryside Council for Wales and the CAE fund of the Snowdonia National Park Authority.
