Are you interested in helping to create your own job?If so, come and have a buffet supper with us at Celtica on Wednesday 21st April! Food will be served at 6.30 p.m. At around 7 p.m. several informative speakers will talk briefly about various aspects of self-employment, co-operatives and training and about assistance available to you. Then there will be a chance to browse round stands provided by our partners and talk privately to their staff. Christine Anderson of Llanbrynmair will talk about how she started her fashion business. Self-employment can be a daunting prospect. Doing it with some friends (by forming a partnership or co-operative) might appeal to you more than going it alone. Ecodyfi is the independent community regeneration group for the Dyfi valley. As well as Job Centre Plus, our partners in this event are: Menter a Busnes - pre-business start up support through programmes such as Potentia Menter a Busnes which is specifically for Welsh speakers Careers Wales - advice and information about training and career choices Business Eye - free and comprehensive information about support which will help existing or start-up businesses The Welsh Development Agency - business advice and co-ops Powys Social Economy Forum - sharing experience from other enterprises It is important that you let me know if you intend to come! Numbers are limited. Please write to me at the above address or leave a message on our ansaphone. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Yours sincerely Andy Rowland, Manager. |
