Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome - and bring a friend too!

Everyone in the Dyfi Valley can join us - and activities are nearly always free.

We'll help you!

woodland conservation workshop - clearing saplings with Mentro Allan

We can sometimes offer extra help and support to parents of young children, young people aged 11-25, and people with mental health difficulties. People from Machynlleth, Cadfarch, Glantwymyn and Llanbrynmair wards are especially welcome.

And don't worry if you're not at all fit right now - or if you never have been! Everyone is welcome - and bring a friend too!

No such thing as a free lunch?

When you first join the programme, we find out what you'd like to do and ask for contact details.

Then and every 6 months, we make a note of what activities you've been doing and whether you're enjoying them.

This is because Mentro Allan is also a four year Wales-wide research project, set up to discover (and hopefully overcome!) the barriers to people being active outdoors. So yes, we will want to include you in the research.
