Let's make the Dyfi Valley a 'Fair Trade Valley'
"I support the promotion of 'Fair Trade' practices in the Dyfi Valley
for both imported and local products"
The petition collected 500 signatures during Fairtrade Fortnight, March
2003.
Machynlleth has some 2000 people and 700 households. The Dyfi Valley
around the town has another 6000 or so people and some 2000 households.
So 500 signatures is a pretty impressive level of support.
